A child nicknamed "turtle boy" because of a giant mole that covered his back like a turtle's shell.
Didier Montalvo, a six year old boy from Colombia, had a rare condition called Congenital Melanotytic nevus that affects around 1 in 20,000 newborn babies but a top surgeon described Didier's condition as the worst he's seen.
Didier's life was severely affected by the growth of the mole that covered his whole back.
Villagers kept away from him and his family, saying its his mother Luz's fault for looking at a solar eclipse while pregnant.

The family was too poor to get Didier a surgery, but his life took a turn when his touching story featured on a local newspaper and a flood of donations poured in.He finally got his life back as the surgery was successful and they were able to remove the birth defect.
